2022 Cabernet Sauvignon

The cows frequently watch us crush grapes before their eyes and politely ask (‘moo!’) for a taste of the grapes. They prefer Cabernet Sauvignon, as they know our Cabernet is exclusively harvested from Dineen Vineyard’s 2 acre Winery Block.

The cows will remember the 2020 vintage as a hot year which resulted in a small harvest with even smaller berries. This produced amazing concentration, a jammy wine that leaves a lasting impression of black cherry, plum, and undertones of sweet pipe-tobacco. The cows rated it 10 moos. Our less refined palates agree; we would simply say, this is a classic Washington Cab. Drinking beautifully on release, it promises to take on added complexity and richness for those with the patience to cellar for years to come.
