2019 Beekeeper's Reserve

This wine is our foundation. We crafted it the year we opened, it sat for 36mo in French oak (70% new). It came from our smallest vineyard and some of the oldest plantings of Malbec (98') and Cabernet (90') in the state. We expect it to age for another decade given its oak profile. If in 2034 you choose to open this bottle, it will be a celebration of 10 years of making wine under the Alveare label. If you open before then, please decant for ~30 min to soften.

58% Merlot, 18% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Cabernet Franc, 7% Malbec, 3% Petite Verdot
